The floor was bouncing and the speakers were shaking! T&J did an amazing job deejaying our wedding, seamlessly blending the traditional cultural music with old soul and dance tracks. Dena was fun, professional, and thorough, making sure everything was perfect.

I knew, as a photographer that Toast & Jam was the DJ I was looking for, I've loved working with them in the past, and appreciated their great tunes, style, and the way they really get the party dancing and the people having fun.

We enjoyed ourselves at our wedding, and danced! Our friends rocked all night and really had a fun time pulling out Roxbury dance moves, and even ripping their pants ( True ):) We loved that even the little flower girls, felt the urge to do a backbend on the dance floor too! Our guests keep telling us what a fun party it was!

As two women artists, we wanted a DJ who was creative and cool as well as friendly and supportive. We researched everyone in town, and Toast and Jam was undoubtedly the right choice. When planning our wedding from out of town, we knew exactly which company we wanted to use. We called Toast & Jam and got in touch with Dena.

From song number one, to the last, all our guests were on the dance floor. Everyone from my five year old cousin, to my eighty year old grandmother. Everyone was commenting on how great Toast & Jam was. Music was such an important part of our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ and company to help us with our day.

When planning our wedding, it was important to us to use LGBT friendly vendors that didn’t just tolerate us for the money, but were enthusiastic about participating in our “big day.” Toast & Jam was the absolute best choice. Our pre-reception meetings were efficient and detailed. Our diverse likes were honored, and as promised, we didn’t hear a single “stale” song. People danced….and danced…and danced. From ages 3 – 83, our family and our friends danced, and so did we. Pictures from the end of the night say it all – jackets off, shoes off, sweaty faces, everyone on the dance floor. Guests repeatedly tell us how much FUN they had, and we know Kate and Rachel played a huge part in its success.

You rocked our reception. Music is an important part of my environment all the time but for my wedding day it had to really be right for everyone, not just me. It was such a good time and you were 'right on' with the music.

Amazing!!! We had so many compliments about the music. Everyone danced and danced and danced...it was perfect. It was also wonderful that you were so easy to be around, professional, fun. Toast & Jam really helped to make our wedding the best night of our lives. It exceeded every expectation and hope that we ever could have had!

Toast & Jam are awesome! We worked with Dustin, he was super-nice, fun and so easy to work with. He got in all our favorite songs and managed to take some requests. He also saved the day by fixing our misbehavin' aisle runner. We recieved so many compliments on our choice of DJ. You will not be disappointed!

Toast and Jam was fabulous! We enjoyed working with them and really appreciated their willingness to mix in traditional Jewish music and modern Israeli songs along with a healthy dose of the indie, pop, disco and funk that we love. The result was eminently danceable and radically non-corny, the perfect compliment to our love fest. Over the course of the night and an excellent mix we danced the hora, got down with our dachshund and feared for our lives while friends and family hoisted us up on chairs.

Toast & Jam did a wonderful job at our wedding! Dustin was very professional, friendly and of course talented all through our process and evening. Our guests really enjoyed him and so many of them commented on his skills in general and his professionalism during our 55 minute Fire Alarm. Because of Dustin, our party was back in full swing and we truly made lemondade out of lemons.His music selections were dynamite and we were so happy with the flow and energy of the evening. During our reception, guest after guest approached me about our “exceptional dj…and she's a chick”, as my one music-loving cousin put it! However, I think that the real test of a great DJ isn’t just the “dancability” of the songs played from 9pm – 12am (while crucial, indeed, it’s not everything), but rather the “listenability” of the music played from 6pm – 9pm (during cocktails and dinner). I mean, really, a little Frank Sinatra goes a long way if you ask me. Our DJ passed with FLYING COLORS! In fact, the music played for those three hours was arguably the best chilled-out, laid-back playlist I’ve ever heard, like ever!

THANK YOU for helping us throw such a great party! I loved every minute of it! The ceremony music was beautifully done, and the reception was a complete and total blast. Everyone keeps sending me notes and e-mails about how great the music was, asking which DJ company I used, etc. We could not have been more pleased! And we knew it from the moment we met you… it was love! I will be shouting your name from the rooftops. And if ever I have a large party again, I’m comin’ straight atcha.

Everyone keeps telling us how awesome you are (and I'm like yeah, I know). My favorite comment was that one of my friends kept waiting for you to play something mediocre so she could go to the bathroom, but you never did. I think she went eventually, but I'm not sure...

Thanks for making our wedding party a blast and keeping the flow going throughout the night. Everyone (including us) has been raving about “the best music ever at a wedding.” I mean, who knew “Watch My Feet” would bridge the generation gap and get everyone going?!? You were the best! Everything was exactly how we wanted it. The dance floor was pretty nuts thanks to you. Nice job of reading the crowd; you got some people moving that are usually barflowers!

Everyone had a blast, I think the music and the cocktails were the biggest hit! Nothing but wonderful things to say... Oh! My mom told me that someone came up to her (her family member) and said can we request the "electric slide"? My mom said no, it is not that type of wedding! ha! I made sure she knew that none of those songs could be requested.

You did a great job at reading the crowd and playing music that everyone could dance to. Everyone was dancing up until the end of the night! We didn't want to leave at the end of the night because it was so fun!

You were so very much in tune with our needs throughout the night and you met each and every one brilliantly. Your song choices were right on with everything we had talked about --- I caught myself on several occasions merrily singing along with your cocktail hour/dinner music! I heard so many compliments on your DJing skills and public speaking presence. And I really appreciate you doing the sound check for the ceremony --- everything for that portion of the day was sound-wise perfect as well.

The music was exactly what we wanted from start to finish, Kate and Rachel followed our requests perfectly, and they did a great job with improvising their own music and reading the room. We even had crashers from another reception join us on the dance floor, who told us "I wish they had these DJs next door." Even the manager of the reception hall commented on our music being so much better than the usual, and he deals with hundreds of receptions each year. I am SO GLAD that we hired Toast & Jam, and having nothing but praise for the impeccable service and music throughout our entire planning process and reception.
